Day 1: Milan MXP – Alba (3 nights) – PIEDMONT Region
Arrive in Milan and welcome by your tour escort. Departure to Alba, the capital of white truffle, the golden product of Piedmont region.
Visit the center and the numerous local picturesque shops, don’t miss the Truffle market. Lunch on your own at a local exclusive restaurant suggested. Rest of the day free.
Day 3: Turin
After breakfast, transfer to Turin, the capital region of Piedmont today, but once the Capital of the Kingdom of Italy under the Savoy family in 1800.
Meet your guide for a walking tour of the city. Visit Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo, the Regio Theatre, and the famous Mole Antolnelliana. Free time for lunch. All around there are famous cafes, luxury shops and a lot of boutiques. Afternoon at leisure for shopping in Turin. (B)
Day 4: Alba – Barolo wine region
After breakfast, meet your driver/guide for an excursion to the Barolo world-famous wine region located in the heart of “le Langhe”. Visit the Castle at Grinzane Cavour, continue to the small city of Barolo. Conclude your tour with a visit to one of the most popular Winery followed by a Barolo wine tasting. (B, W)
Day 5: Alba – Genoa – Rapallo ( Italian Riviera – Liguria )
After breakfast, departure for Portofino between Cinque Terre & Riviera Ligure. En route stop in Genova, Christopher Columbus the famous Italian explorer. Walking tour of the historical center, see Columbus house (birthplace), the Duomo, and Piazza de Ferrari. In the afternoon drive along the Ligurian coastline, check in at your hotel in Portofino. Move to the picturesque village of Portofino. Tonight enjoys a very special original pesto and fish dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)
Day 6: Rapallo – Cinque Terre
Morning at leisure, or take an optional excursion to the Cinque Terre. Enjoy the beauties of these 5 hamlets. Lunch in Vernazza at a local traditional restaurant. Back to Portofino in the afternoon. Dinner tonight is on your own. Enjoy the most beautiful promenade of the Riviera. (B)
Day 7: Rapallo & Portofino at leisure (evening ferry boat to Sardinia)
Check-out and transfer to Genoa. Embark the Ferry boat. Check-in at Ferry Boat reception. Dinner and overnight on board. Arrival in Sardinia next morning. (B, D)
Day 8: Porto Torres – Alghero (western Sardinia)
Arrival in Porto Torres harbor. Disembark and take a scenic drive along Sardinia’s north coast to Stintino continuing along the bay to L’Asinara National Park.
Visit of this untouched slice of Sardinia island, including a visit at the Asinara Prison, once in the time consider the Italian Alcatraz, no more in use.
Continue to Alghero, a medieval town along the sea with a lovely promenade and pathway that leads up the hill to the old town center.
Built-in on a volcanic hillside, the views of the cliffs offer a stunning scene, especially at night. Check-in at your Hotel.
Visit Alghero’s historic center. Considered to be the most Spanish city on the island, Alghero’s charming center will capture your heart. Enjoy the winding pedestrian-only streets lined with fine boutiques and enticing cafes. Free time for lunch at Alghero’s lovely center. (B)
Day 9: Alghero – Winery – Agriturismo Sa Mandra
Relax at the wonderful grounds of your hotel. Take a ride to a local winery for a visit and wine tasting. Move then to a traditional rural farmhouse called “Sa Mandra” where you will have an included lunch based on the best products of Sardinian traditional cuisine. Rest of the day at leisure. (B, D)
Day 10: Santa Teresa di Gallura – HD excursion
Take a scenic drive along the northern coast for an en-route visit to Santa Teresa di Gallura. Just outside of town is Capo Testa lighthouse an area of great beauty. Continue to the town of Porto Cervo for magnificent views of the bay. Free time for lunch in Santa Teresa di Gallura. (B)
Day 11: Porto Cervo
Day at leisure. Relax and enjoy hotel facilities. Jump into the emerald seawater of Sardinia and if you wish take an optional boat tour along the Costa Smeralda. Stop in one of the untouched bays where you can snorkeling or just having a lovely break to relax. (B)
Day 12: Porto Cervo – La Maddalena
Morning departure to La Maddalena archipelago, an archipelago off the north-eastern tip of Sardinia. The archipelago consists of over sixty islands, islets, and rocks. In the past the islands have been important strategic naval and military bases; now they are an attractive and fairly low-key holiday destination. The most famous attractions are the beautiful unspoiled beaches, the blue seas, and the final home of Italian hero Giuseppe Garibaldi, on the island of Caprera. Visit Garibaldi house and Capraia island. Rest of the day at leisure for free activities. At sunset, suggested dinner by the beach with a scenic view. (B)
Day 13: Porto Cervo
Today at leisure. Suggested boat tour along the Costa Smeralda.

Day 14: Sardinia – direct flight to Milan
Today after breakfast transfer to the OLBIA airport. Take a direct flight to Milan Airport for a connected flight back home. (B)
