Day 1 > Bari – Ostuni [B, D]
Upon arrival in Bari, meet your tour leader and transfer to Ostuni. Orientation tour of the city, know as “la città Bianca” (the white town) with its picturesque streets and spectacular view of the surrounding valleys of almond and centuries olive trees. Welcome Dinner at the Hotel.
Day 2 > Fasano – Polignano a Mare [B, L]
After breakfast you will stop at local Farm house called “Masseria” for an exclusive cooking class including lunch.
**Cooking class Program: Meet our Chef and follow him into the Masseria garden. During the welcome meeting you will receive a book with the description of the recipes, customized apron and hat. Starts a 3 hours cooking course, followed by lunch.
Stop on route for a short visit of Polignano a Mare, a delightful small city built on a cliff overlooking the Adriatic sea. It is also famous for the jet set of several episodes of “the Bold and the Beautiful” and also known because Polignano gave the birth to Domenico Modugno, famous singer of “Volare”, symbol of the italian music in the world.
Day 3 > Martina Franca and Alberobello [B]
Visit Martina Franca and its examples of architecture from Baroque period. Enjoy the excellent panorama of the Valle D’Itria. After lunch continue to Locorotondo and Alberobello and have the chance to visit the Trulli, the symbol of the town, rural houses build with just stones named “Chiancarelle”. Alberobello has become UNESCO world heritage in 1996.
Day 4 > Lecce [B]
After breakfast, check out and transfer by luxury minivan to your hotel in Lecce. Stop nearby Ostuni to visit a unique Olive mill (olive oil testing), dated back to the end of 17th century.
All around the olive mill there are the famous centuries olive trees, protected today by the Minister of Agriculture and by the UNESCO program, while Ostuni is part of the Itria Valley. Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy dinner at local traditional restaurant.

Day 5 > Lecce [B]
Visit beautiful Lecce, main city on the Salento peninsula and thanks to the presence of numerous baroque palaces it is nicknamed “The Florence of the South”. Visit St. Oronzo square and get the chance to taste a “Pasticciotto”, a delicious shortcrust pastry with cream. Lunch on your own. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6 > Santa Maria di Leuca & Gallipoli [B]
Santa Maria di Leuca, along the road that runs along the sea, is full of beautiful villas dating back to the beginning of the century, on the promontory where today there is the Santuario De Finibus Terrae once stood a pagan temple
dedicated to the goddess Minerva. Gallipoli, the beautiful city (polis kalè) is located stretched out over the Ionian Sea and is divided into two parts: the village and the historic center.
Visit Castello Aragonese, Duomo and La purita. Gallipoli today is one of the most famous resort town in Apulia.
Day 7 > Taranto & Manduria [B]
Enjoy the daily tour in Taranto. Visit the Aragonese Castle. Built in 1492, Castel Sant’Angelo is overlooking the Waterway, an extraordinary example of Renaissance military architecture, was built on the ancient Greek structure, Byzantine and Norman-Swabian-Angevin.
In the heart of the old town of Taranto stands, in all its monumental beauty of the Cathedral of San Cataldo, the oldest Cathedral in Apulia. Continue to the scenic road along the ionian sea and finally arrive in Manduaria. Suggested visit at local winery where you can enjoy the exclusive and prestige wine “Primitivo di Manduria”.
Day 8 > Lecce – Bari [B]
Transfer to your Hotel in Bari. Enjoy visiting the old city center and and admire the Castello Svevo, the great wall of old city and the Cathedral of St.
Nicholas, saint patron of Bari, known worldwide with the name of Santa Claus. Check – in at the hotel. Lunch and afternoon at leisure.
Day 9 > Bari – Castel del Monte – Trani [B,D]
After breakfast morning transfer to Castel del Monte, in the countryside of the city of Andria. Visit the Castle, symbol of the majesty of Frederik the II of Swabia.
Wine tasting in Andria and than continue to the historical city of Trani. Time for lunch and stroll trough the alleys of the old city and discover one of the biggest Jewish district in southern Italy. Visit the cathedral of St. Nicholas the Pilgrim and walk along the seafront and have a gelato. Return to Bari. Farewell dinner at local restaurtant.
Day 10 > Bari Airport
Morning transfer to Bari Airport for your return flight home.
